Colours of The Kimberley Wildflower Experience
30 May 2017
It was an evening of colour and distinct Western Australian flavours as food and diamond lovers gathered for the Rohan Jewellery ‘Colours of the Kimberley’ experience with Argyle Pink Diamonds.
Rohan, joined by special guest, Rio Tinto Diamond’s Global Marketing Director, Josephine Johnson, spoke to the captivating palette of colour of the world’s rarest diamonds as Executive Chef, Jed Gerrard guided guests through five, forager-driven courses with each course gently referencing a colour from the Argyle Diamond Mine’s jewel box of fancy coloured gems – from the rich champagne and cognac tones, through to yellows, right through to the inherently rare pinks, blues, violets and reds.
“This was a simply fabulous event and the brainchild of Rohan to bring together three West Australian icons in this way.
The best of West Australian artistry was showcased through our rare handcrafted diamonds, Rohan’s bespoke jewellery and the finest cuisine by Jed Gerrard – it was a feast for all the senses.” said Josephine Johnson.
Nestled among the decadent display of jewels and fancy coloured diamonds sourced from the Argyle Diamond Mine were ‘The Golden Lights of Argyle’, a matching pair of 5ct Fancy Vivid yellow square emerald cut stones, incredibly, cut from the one rough diamond. Guests were also treated to an exclusive preview of a selection of exceptional pink, red and violet diamonds from the upcoming 2017 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender.
