An Intimate Evening of Wine & Rocks with Erin Larkin

It was a pleasure to host Wine & Rocks, an intimate evening with long-time client and friend of the brand Erin Larkin, along with Master Craftsman Rohan Milne.

Erin Larkin is a wine writer based in Perth Western Australia. She is a contributor to The Wine Companion magazine, Gourmet Traveller Wine, a Pro Member of Tastingbook.com and contributes to a number of other smaller publications close to home and further afield. She is a regular host of events in Perth each week, and more occasionally across Australia – Western Australia is her home and her focus.

In a lively discussion, the two shared their mutual passions, career journeys, the importance of provenance, rarity, their thoughts in industry trends, and touched on the great natural versus manufactured debate.

The evening featured a selection of wines curated by Erin including a Louis Roederer Champagne Collection 244, a Vintage Reserve Pierro Chardonnay 2020 and a Domaine Thenard – Grands-Echezeaux Grand Cru Pinot Noir.

For the event, we added the Rohan Jewellers touch to the most renowned bottle opener, The Durand®. A gold plaque engraved with ‘Wine & Rocks’ was added to the Durand® with five Argyle Champagne Diamonds. A unique and functional piece for the true wine and rocks lover.
