An Heirloom Revival
1 JULY 2025
At Rohan Jewellers, we believe the true value of jewellery lies not in its materials, but in its sentiment.
Recently, we had the honour of reviving a peridot ring belonging to Vanessa and Terry — a gift for her 17th birthday in 1987. At the time, the two were working together at McDonald’s and studying at Taffe. Though it wasn’t an official engagement, they cheekily joked it was, a playful promise of what was to come.
Thirty-seven years later, the ring was still on her finger worn, weathered, and eventually in need of cutting off. But the sentiment remained untouched. With a need to restore the piece, the couple turned to us.
With care and collaboration, we reimagined the ring using its original stones while creating a new design that reflected their enduring bond. A love story retold in gold and stone, made to last another 37 years and beyond.
One bespoke 18ct yellow gold ring featuring client’s own recut peridot surrounded by a double diamond halo.
